GDD 200 Game: Roll Around!

Here is the link to the game: http://www.kongregate.com/games/mannygomez02/roll-around

It is a roll-a-ball game, with a main menu, fail menus, timer and other things I learned with youtube videos to be able to complete all of them. After taking a few more days to do this final I wanted to show I worked hard on it.

The game I made I decide to call Roll Around!

The game is timed (feature added after the first update) and consists on you picking up small cubes across the world. I have 3 levels with exceeding difficult but with also more time. This could change within other updates, trying to make harder levels. Also a possible addition of high scores.

Menu Screen

First Level: Basic Just teaching you what to do.

First Level

Fail Menu.

Second Level: The trick is to grab the tiles you see first, then go the right and jump the ramp then take a left and come back to collect some more then go back as fast as you can to where you land.

The Ramp.

After that you go on this straight away making sure you collect all of the cubes.

Make the Jump.

collect the two cubes on the platform and you will suceed.

Start of 'hardest' level.

Choose one of the two paths and then go down the slide. Making sure to grab as many of the cubes as you can.

Land here collect all the ones on this platform and fall of one side.

Fall and grab all the remaining cubes on the straightaway then fall to either side. If you have 24 you will win the game.

GDD 202 Work: Sniper Rifle

My next project was working on a 50 Caliber Sniper rifle. I am so happy on how this one turned out. I was excited to work on this prop and seeing the progress from some boxes to a good looking sniper rifle is more than rewarding.

GDD 202 Work: Knife

For my GDD 202 I worked on two things the first thing I want to show you is the combat knife I worked on. I will go picture by picture on how it all started to how it ended up being.

This was the first thing I did. It was very simple to accomplish, some sections of the UV's was annoying but other than that it didn't turn out too bad. It went through a lot of of changes, which I am okay with I don't mind it at all. When I would finish I would try to find more things to add to it until I was happy with how the knife ended.
